Vous n’êtes pas dans un musée, mais dans un aéroport; au Terminal E de l’aéroport Roissy Charles de Gaulle pour être précis. L’aéroport a crée un Espace Musées dans lequel deux expositions auront lieu par an, pour mettre en valeur l’art français auprès des voyageurs internationaux. La première exposition, “Rodin, Les ailes de la gloire”, a démarrée début Janvier 2013.

You are not in a museum, but in an airport (in Terminal E at Paris Roissy Charles de Gaulle to be precise). The airport has created a space in which two museums exhibitions will be held every year,  showcasing French art to international travelers. The first exhibition, “Rodin, Wings of Glory,” has started early January 2013.

Stimuler la créativité est fondamental dans une agence de publicité. Et cela passe souvent par le design des lieux. Cette agence ne fait pas exception mais elle a trouvé un style bien à elle, assez original, entre le pop, le cartoon et l’injonction. Plutôt réussi.

Stimulating creativity is central in an advertising agency. And they often leverage their offices design for it. This agency is no exception, but they found a very personal style, quite original, a mix of pop culture, cartoons and “talking typography”. Great achievement.

This Minibar has said no to dark colors, indirect lighting and large Chesterfield couches. Yet this Minibar is a  very trendy and  pleasant Washington bar. Une parfaite démonstration du rôle d’un ambassadeur: mettre en valeur la qualité et la créativité de son pays.
Well, you are not in Europe but you are in a way … You are in the Official Residence of the Norwegian embassy, but in Colombo, Sri Lanka … From the location only remains the white walls and the dark wood and Norway, with Scandinavian design, has taken control of the rest of the space. A perfect demonstration of  an ambassador’s role, showcasing the quality and creativity of their country ?

Inspired by the work of Anish Kapoor, this Pavilion allows the stroller to face himself in an original way. The giant mirror that covers the “ceiling” displays your image upside down. A fascinating visual game.

Restaurants always have a hint of local. A french restaurant in Japan still carries a bit of Japan with it, and that’s nice. This Hong-Kong spanish restaurant is no exception : spanish food is great in your plate. And is great for your eyes, as the decor is smartly done with spanish cans, bottles and boxes, building lines and pillars around you. What they call a Spanish decor I suppose ?
