Dans une ancienne fonderie, au sein de l’ancien quartier des docks de Vancouver, ce nouveau bar à vin produit son propre sauvignon blanc sous les yeux de ses visiteurs. Ses fondateurs ont pensé leur bar en lieu de socialisation à grande échelle, et les gourmands, les gourmets et les amoureux du vin y organisent des dégustations, des diners et des soirées. Un beau lieu à tenter.

In an old foundry in the former docklands of Vancouver, this new wine bar produces its own Sauvignon blanc in front of its visitors. From the start, the winery founders created their bar as a place of socialization. So that gourmets and wine lovers can organize tastings, dinners and parties. A beautiful place to try.

Exprimer les loisirs dans un lieu, c’est parfois s’approprier des symboles ludiques. Le centre de loisirs Wanangkura est un bel exemple de cette approche: l’architecture extérieure ainsi que la décoration intérieure rappellent directement nos heures glorieuses d’enfants obsédés par les petites briques de couleurs. Une architecture qui stimule l’instinct de jeu!

Creating a leisure environment sometimes means appropriating playful symbols. The Wanangkura recreational center  is a good example of this approach: the external architecture as well as the interior decoration immediately links to our glorious children hours, obsessed with small colored bricks. When architecture  stimulates our playing instinct!

Vous n’êtes pas dans un musée, mais dans un aéroport; au Terminal E de l’aéroport Roissy Charles de Gaulle pour être précis. L’aéroport a crée un Espace Musées dans lequel deux expositions auront lieu par an, pour mettre en valeur l’art français auprès des voyageurs internationaux. La première exposition, “Rodin, Les ailes de la gloire”, a démarrée début Janvier 2013.

You are not in a museum, but in an airport (in Terminal E at Paris Roissy Charles de Gaulle to be precise). The airport has created a space in which two museums exhibitions will be held every year,  showcasing French art to international travelers. The first exhibition, “Rodin, Wings of Glory,” has started early January 2013.

Stimuler la créativité est fondamental dans une agence de publicité. Et cela passe souvent par le design des lieux. Cette agence ne fait pas exception mais elle a trouvé un style bien à elle, assez original, entre le pop, le cartoon et l’injonction. Plutôt réussi.

Stimulating creativity is central in an advertising agency. And they often leverage their offices design for it. This agency is no exception, but they found a very personal style, quite original, a mix of pop culture, cartoons and “talking typography”. Great achievement.
