I can’t believe that nobody has thought of it before! This is the first Panda themed hotel. Located in China at the foot of the mountain where tourists come to see the pandas, it presents a very Chinese decor, decorated with plush pandas, drawing of pandas, and inhabited by a panda character who welcomes you, guides you and also plays the piano for you!

Mais il faudra maintenant s’y habituer car avec la Macalister Mansion, Penang vient de signifier son entrée dans le monde contemporain. Réhabilitant une ancienne maison coloniale, en mêlant art contemporain et épure, tout en capitalisant sur la conception initiale de la maison, une magnifique réinterprétation !
We have not been used (yet) to hear about Malaysia for its innovative places. But we must now get used to it : with the Macalister Mansion, Penang just signified its entry in the contemporary world. In rehabilitating an old colonial house, mixing contemporary art and refinement, while capitalizing on the initial space design of the house, Ministry of Design managed a beautiful reinterpretation!
