How do you hint about Italy without becoming an Italy showroom ? Spiga in Hong-Kong has nicely hidden Italian insights in this new restaurant (using leather and terrazzo, leather shoes insole on the bar …), creating a nice Italian feel without transforming the place into a circus. Even though the Italian circus is also evoked through the decoration in the main area.
The outside terrace and bar (called Portico) proposes a great lounge atmosphere, with large benches to relax and enjoy the view.
A great place for the first Hong-Kong restaurant of the Michelin awarded chef, Enrico Bartolini.
Comment évoquer l’Italie sans devenir une une caricature ? Le restaurant Spiga à Hong-Kong a délicatement inséré des évocations italiennes dans ce nouveau restaurant (utilisant le cuir et le terrazzo dans l’ensemble du lieu, recyclant les semelles intérieures des chaussures en cuir dans le bar …), créant ainsi une belle sensation du sud sans transformer l’endroit en cirque. Même si le cirque italien est également évoqué au travers de la décoration du restaurant.
La terrasse et le bar extérieur (nommés Portico) proposent une atmosphère lounge, avec de grands lits d’assise pour se détendre et profiter de la vue.
Un excellent lieu pour le premier restaurant à Hong Kong, du chef primé par Michelin, Enrico Bartolini.
