This village has been entirely redesigned on the basis of an old one that was little by little abandoned by its inhabitant. The new village is a cooperation between Dutch and Chinese artists and architects. It mixes old and new structures to create artist worksophs and exhibition spaces, adding a museum and library. And brings life back to a emptying countryside village.
Ce lieu a été entièrement recrée sur la base d’un ancien village que ses habitants avaient peu à peu abandonnés. Ce nouveau village est une coopération entre artistes et architectes néerlandais et chinois. Il mélange de nouvelles et anciennes structures pour créer à la fois des ateliers d’artistes et des espaces d’exposition, tout en y ajoutant un musée et une bibliothèque. Et ainsi redonner vie à un village de campagne qui disparaissait peu à peu.
